TileDB is looking for a talented and driven Sales Development Rep to join our team and help drive growth for our Geospatial, Genomics, and other solutions. We are pioneering the database for any complex data and computation. When it comes to data, TileDB structures what others see as unstructured; going beyond blobs and tables and making any data - video, images, genomics and more analysis-ready. TileDB has already seen success with customers in the life sciences, geospatial, and telecom industries and we are seeing great traction with applications using complex data.

TileDB Cloud is the foundation for multiple Solutions in Genomics, Geospatial and other verticals. We have significant partnerships with Rady’s Children’s Hospital and their BeginNGS program. What you’ll do:

  • Spearhead the growth & adoption of TileDB Products
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through various inbound & outbound channels to increase customer interest, and excitement in TileDB products
  • Uncover new opportunities from our existing customers and target accounts
  • Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in TileDB products
  • Craft a great first impression to our prospects and customers by adding value during every customer touchpoint
  • Partner with our experienced AEs to help fill pipeline and grow your skills
  • Engage in team development and mentoring
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business
  • Attend discovery calls and demo’s with prospects
  • REQUIRED - 1-2+ years of work experience as a BDR/SDR/MDR at a SaaS company
  • Possess the tenacity to prospect and qualify business, own the ‘can do’ attitude to do whatever it takes, be flexible and adaptable to all things in a start-up and have a sense of humor that contributes to a winning environment!
  • Have experience with a digital sales stack – such as SalesForce, Hubspot, LinkedIN Navigator, LeadIQ, SalesLoft… & Familiar with Social Selling to manage, create, and maintain CRM data.
  • Have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Have the ability to complete special projects on time with a high level of quality

  • BioTech, Life Sciences, Big Pharma, or Geospatial domain expertise is a plus
  • Have used and been trained in a modern sales methodology – Sandler, Force Management, MEDDIC, MEDPIC, Challenger Sales, or similar - a plus
  • Experience working with Cloud Partners – AWS, Azure or GCP a plus
  • BA/BS - Life Sciences, or Computer Science majors is a plus
